Convoy-Ahead

The MVMVC is planning a Convoy to Northern Parts of New Hampshire. It will be a two night three day trek to the Great North Woods. The tentative plan is to leave the Concord NH Walmart on Loudon Rd on friday June 29th at 9:00am take route 28 to 16 all the way to Gorham NH. The second day will bring us to Errol, Colebrook then up to Pittsburg (Time permitting), maybe even a trip into Canada, for those that want to. The third day will be a return trip down route 3.
Potential Itinerary (subject to Change)
Friday June 29th
9:00 am- Leave Concord New Hampshire Walmart- 344 Loudon Rd
10:00 am- Arrive at Wright Museum- Wolfeboro, New Hampshire- $7/adult to enter https://www.wrightmuseum.org/
12:00pm Leave Museum- Eat lunch- Location TBD
1:30 pm- Leave for Gorham
4:30 pm- arrive at Town and Country Inn and Resort
5:30 pm- Dinner (At Town and Country or other location)
6:30 pm – Social time/ Ice Cream Run if desired
Saturday June 30th
8:00 am- Breakfast- Town and Country
9:00 am- Leave and head to Errol, NH
10:30 am- LL Cote Errol, NH
11:30 am- Leave for Colebrook
12:15 pm- Lunch in Colebrook- Beaver Brook falls- Picnic lunch
1:30 pm- Head to Pittsburg, NH (If the group would like, or we can explore the Colebrook Area)
4:30 pm- Check into Northern Comfort
5:30 pm- Dinner at the Black Bear- Colebrook, NH
7:00 pm- Social time at Club Member Justin and Jennifer Falconer’s house
Sunday July 1st
8:00 am- Checkout
8:30 am- Breakfast- Somewhere in Colebrook or Lancaster
9:30 am- Head south on Route 3
12:30 pm- Lunch- Location TBD
1:00 pm- Clark’s Trading Post- Lincoln NH- Gift Shop maybe more
2:30 pm- Head to Concord
5:00 pm- Arrive in Concord

Hotels have been chosen for the convoy. It is up to the participants to reserve their own rooms, just let them know you are with the MVMVC.

Vehicle Requirements for the Convoy
- Working CB radio
- Spare tire in good usable condition
- Extra fluids- engine oil, gear oil specific to your vehicle
- Tool kit- large enough to do minor roadside repairs
- Proper registration and state inspection as required by your state
Non-military vehicles can participate however they will be in line behind the last military vehicle. The first vehicle in line will have a convoy follows sign, the last military vehicle will be marked with a convoy ahead sign.
